This year, Earth Day is Sunday, April 22nd, and National Arbor Day is Friday, April 27th.

Both events will be celebrated at the annual family-friendly Celebration of Trees on Saturday, April 28th, rain or shine. There will be kid-friendly activities, The Lorax, live music, food and drink, and opportunities to speak with professionals concerning tree care, landscaping, plant selection and planting and more.

Free seedlings and wildflower seed bombs (same seed mix used by the City at the four corners area of Hwy 55 and Deinhard) will be given out.

The following organizations will have booths at the event: Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary; Idaho Power; Payette Land Trust; Forest Service; Payette Children’s Forest; McCall Library; Idaho Department of Environmental Quality; MOSS; Idaho Rivers United; City of McCall; University of Idaho, Valley County Extension; McCall in Bloom.
