How did that happen????!
Hot days, cool nights…it’s what we LIVE for here in the mountains of Idaho. There’s still a LOT of summer to be had in and around our fair town of McCall.
Here are Julie’s Picks for the weekend of Thursday August 2nd through Monday August 6th:

~~Live music at Mile High Marina with Big Mac & The Noise, 6:00-9:00pm.

~~ Live music at Mile High Marina with Steve Eaton, 6:00-9:00pm.

~~Yellow Pine Music and Harmonica Festival, an annual harmonica-focused, family-friendly music festival held outdoors in the Idaho backwoods. August 3rd 11:00 am through August 5th noon.

~~First Saturday at Gallery 55, 4:00-8:00pm. Come enjoy the lakeside scene at Gallery 55 at a special reception for guest artist Pam Demo with wine by Bistro 45, appetizers, and music by Mike Rutledge.
~~ Live Music at Mile High Marina with Bottom Line Band, 6:00-9:00pm.

~~Live music at Mile High Marina with Wisdom & Wonder, noon-3:00pm.
~~Reckless Kelly at the Barn! A benefit concert Hosted by Idaho Celebrates Gratitude and Shepherd’s Home 2:30-8:30pm. All proceeds go to the Shepherd’s Home. Swing dance lessons at 2:30pm. Dustin & Kevin Welch will be opening at 3:30pm and Reckless Kelly kicks off at 5:30pm. BYO picnic. Family-friendly event. More info at http://shepherds-home.org/the-barn-benefit-concert.html.

~~ Jug Mountain Ranch LADIES NIGHT has been moved to Sundays! Join us at 4:00pm for nine holes, an appetizer and a glass of house beer or wine for $30 per person. Book your tee time by calling (208) 634-5072.

~~Broken Horn Brewing Company Anniversary & Appreciation Party! Come down on Monday August 6th and help us celebrate our fifth anniversary!!! We will have live local music, happy hour specials all evening and FREE burritos. (Make sure to RSVP as a head count will help us plan for enough food.)

Julie Conrad is an Idaho Native who spent much of her early life in McCall at her family’s cabin, and now calls McCall her full-time home. In 2012 Conrad created McCall Marketing Solutions because she enjoys promoting local small businesses and events. Among other volunteering endeavors, Conrad is a member of the MCPAWS and Kit Worthington Foundation for the Arts boards.
