Ahhhh, fall in McCall! Such a beautiful time of year in the mountains of Idaho. McCall is putting on quite the show with Autumn colors popping nearly everywhere you look. It’s the PERFECT time to get out for a hike or bike or participate in the harvest!
Here are just a couple of things on tap for the weekend. And speaking of “on tap,” for the beer lovers out there, make sure to stop by The Salmon River Brewery for their seasonal Sweeping Pumpkins Stout now on tap.

~~ McCall’s Farmers Market (10:00am – 2:00pm). Harvest time!

~~The Grand Opening of Franz Witte McCall‘s 2018 Pumpkin Patch will be this Saturday, Sept 29 at 10:00 am! $6 pumpkins grown in Idaho, photo booth, straw bales, decorative gourds and fall décor for sale.

~~Harvest Festival + Farm to Table Dinner (3:30pm – 6:00pm).
Head to The Activity Barn for this one-day community festival and bulk-buying event where you can fill your pantry and meet and support your local farmers, ranchers and purveyors. This is a casual, family-friendly event intended to connect community members celebrating local food.
The market will feature locally grown produce – winter squash, pumpkins, apples, pears, potatoes, etc.; local meat; flowers, honey, and value-added items such as locally roasted coffee, canned jams/jellies, gluten-free and grain-free mixes.
Canning/preserving recipes and tips will be available. Live music and fall family activities will add to the fun, along with local beer and adult cider. Ride your bike to the event and save $1 off your first beer! FREE Hayrides will be available on a first-come, first served basis. (The dinner is sold out.)
