I so love fall in McCall! The colors are just now starting to turn everywhere you look. Cooler days make for perfect hiking and biking weather, so now is the time to get out and about to see some fall color.
Although our Summer pace has slowed a bit, there are still plenty of things to see and do in and around McCall!
Here are “Julie’s Picks” for the weekend of September 21st through the 23rd.

~~ Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary Annual Open House (1:00pm – 4:00pm).
Enjoy guided tours and meet the sanctuary’s two educational raptors!
In order to preserve a natural, quiet habitat for rehabilitating wildlife, the open house is the only time the public is allowed in to the inner sanctuary grounds. Guided tours will begin at 1:00pm and light refreshments will be provided by the river. This event is free to the public; however, donations are always appreciated!
Snowdon is located seven miles from downtown McCall at the end of Lick Creek Rd (where the pavement ends). It’s the first right after the pavement ends. For questions call, 208-634-8050.

~~ Autumn Wine Walk-About in the Courtyard at Bistro 45! (3:00pm – 6:00pm).
Sample 20 wines from around the world poured by our fave wine guy Paul Colwell of BRJ Distributing and Kelly Fagan of Palm Bay Imports. Enjoy light appetizers by Bistro 45, raffle prizes and live music, all for $25 per person. PLUS, you get to take home your Riedel wine glass!
You won’t want to miss this fun event to welcome fall in McCall.
