Things slow down and we all take a deep, calming breath in February after a busy January and Winter Carnival. But there are still some fun things to do!

Pilates for the Paws February 8th from 8:15-6:30 pm. Stretch and strengthen while benefiting MCPAWS at McCall Pilates Studio and 360 Trapeze. Follow the link to sign up for a lesson or enter the silent auction.

Stage Flight – February 8th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Alpine Playhouse. Real-life storytelling shared by friends, neighbors, visitors, and strangers, each story seven minutes long. Subject: extraordinary dates. Hosted by McCall Arts and Humanities Council.

 

 

Nordic for Ladies at Jug Mountain Ranch on February 9th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. A day of Nordic skiing or snowshoeing, yoga, lunch and a fashion show, $50/person.

Destination: Beer  Saturday February 23rd from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Depot Park, downtown McCall. Tickets include unlimited samples from over twenty Idaho brewers and gourmet appetizers. The event is held under a heated tent in downtown McCall but this is winter so warm attire is highly recommended! Age 21 and older, no exceptions.

 

Doing Democracy Tuesday, February 26th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.The McCall Public Library invites you to join the discussion: Should we ban motorized watercraft on Payette Lake? How is Payette Lake’s health affected? How are other communities handling this problem?

 

Mountainfilm Comes to Valley County  Hosted by and a benefit for Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation, a showing of 21 films. Two dates and locations: Sunday, March 3rd at 3:00 pm at Roxy Theatre in Cascade, and Monday, March 4th at 7:00 in McCall at Alpine Playhouse.
