March 2nd:  A celebration of World Wildlife Day at Ruby’s Kitchen, benefiting Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary; 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Wine tasting, tasty appetizers, amazing silent auction and raffle items, wildlife trivia contest and more!
Tickets can be picked up Ruby’s Kitchen during regular business hours. $25/ticket while they last.

March 3rd in Cascade at Roxy Theatre, 3:00-6:oo pm, and March 4th in McCall, Alpine Playhouse, 7:00-9:300 pm: Mountainfilm, hosted by Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation. McCall prefunction at Broken Horn on Monday, March 4:00-5:00 pm. Twenty-one incredible films, great fun, lots of raffle items!



March 5th: Open Mic Night at Café 6 three 4, 6:00-8:00 pm. Starting in March, every first Tuesday we will be hosting an open mic night here at the cafe! Sign up at the door. We will introduce a new Idaho craft beer on tap along with dinner each month.

Doors open at 5 for dinner and lineup starts at 6!

March 5th: Screening of Mercury 13, McCall Library, 6:30-9:00 pm. Join us for a screening of the new hit documentary Mercury 13 and stay for questions and discussion with one of the original Mercury 13 women pilots, Gene Nora Jessen.



March 9th: The McCall Big Band Show – Treasure Valley Swing Band, 7:00-8:30 pm, Payette Lakes Middle School, McCall. The widest variety of of tunes you may ever hear from a big band! $5 suggested donation.



March 13th: Bye Bye Germany screening 7:00-9:00 pm at Alpine Playhouse, McCall, followed by The Third Murder. (Bye Bye Germany was cancelled in February due to snow emergency but now back.) “Bye Bye Germany” is “a refreshingly original, unpredictable tale about Jews trying to scam their way out of postwar Europe, is part caper, part Holocaust drama, part buddy movie, part romance, and part melancholic comedy” says the San Francisco Examiner. The film was the official selection of the Berlin International Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival. At 9:00 pm we will show The Third Murder. Tickets for the February showing of “Bye Bye Germany” will be honored at this showing. Tickets for the double feature “The Third Murder” and “Bye Bye Germany” will be available at the McCall Public Library, starting Thursday, March 7th until 3:00 pm the day of the show. Remaining tickets will be available at the door. All tickets are free.

March 16th: St Paddy’s Day party at Brundage. Start the day with a treasure hunt, try your hand at cabbage bowling, then enjoy corned beef and cabbage or Guinness brats with Irish french fries for lunch before settling in for live music in the upper lot.
